I’ve been challenged by some friends to play with poetic forms. I don’t consider myself a poet but I have enjoyed the restrictions of defined structure. Oftentimes, I don’t understand poetry but I’ve learned I appreciate simple language. Hopefully I’ll expand my comprehension.
One of the ways to do that of course is to read more. Today’s poem, She Let Go, is by Rev. Safire Rose. It speaks to me of defining moments. They aren’t always explosive, and yet, they cannot be forgotten.
