Recently, I read about the envelope in the tree. I’d never heard of this tradition before, but I love it. For a family with kids, this is a wonderful way to encourage them to think about others in the midst of opening gifts. And for someone like me without kids, I’m sure I can find some in the vicinity to adopt for this purpose.
